MMG Assembles 10.4 Acres in Plantation, FL with $3.5M Purchase

Pinecrest, FL – January 7th, 2022 MMG Equity Partners has acquired 8190 W Sunrise Blvd, a 4.83-acre site on W Sunrise Boulevard, just West of N University Drive in Plantation, FL. The property consists of a 19,178 sf office building built in 1974, occupied by Bank of America.

The property is adjacent to Plantation Square, a 65,796 SF strip center on 5.6 acres, which MMG  purchased May 2021.

“This property is significantly underutilized with an oversized freestanding bank branch on an oversized lot. We are currently in the design stage of modernizing our adjacent center and will be proposing a more cohesive project for the entire 10-acres that will better fit in with the surrounding area; the area has changed significantly over the past 5-years. We’re currently in negotiations with Bank of America to build them a new branch, and in the planning stage for the balance of the site” said Marcos Puente, MMG’s Director of Acquisitions.

MMG is long on Plantation, having purchased three properties in the market over the last 7 months.  In December 2021, MMG acquired Plantation Community Plaza, and in May 2021, MMG acquired Plantation Square Plaza
